A little bit about me.
I was born and raised in Poland. I moved to Canada when I was 40, and I had a hard time finding my place here and truly saying I belonged.
Looking for something I could do while staying home to care for my kids, I've discovered HGTV.
And that was the beginning!
I bought some paint for my first garage sale piece, and I tried it.
I loved everything about furniture refinishing: the new look, the style I could refinish it in, and the cost, which was a portion of what I would have to spend in the store.
Fast-forward 12 years, and I'm here ready to help you discover your passion, save some old pieces from landfills, and make your home magazine-like on a budget.
I want to assure you that we can transform everything and anything together!

A 2 day, weekend workshop in Okotoks AB, with Dorota as your personal instructor. Bring your own piece of furniture you want to work on, and we'll supply all the tools, materials and supplies you need for a full on furniture makeover.
Online Course
Online course with Dorota as your instructor, you can complete from anywhere you want and at your own pace. Easy way to learn the skills and knowledge and gain confidence to start painting furniture by yourself!
